Olympic National Park Entrance Pass
Can only be used for the Olympic National Park. The pass can be purchased online or at Olympic National Park visitor centers and entrance stations. The pass is good for 7 days.

Annual Pass: $55
America the Beautiful / Interagency Pass
Can be used at any National Park, National Forest or other federal site. Northwest Forest Passes and National Wildlife Refuge Passes are not necessary if you have purchased an America the Beautiful pass. The pass can be purchased online or at these locations.

Camping at Olympic National Park requires a National Park Pass as well as a camping fee. The Recreation.gov app is useful for camping reservations in Olympic National Park.

Required for parking at Washington State Parks, Department of Natural Resources (DNR), & Department of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW) sites. The pass can be purchased online or at these locations.
One-Day Pass: $11.50 (incl $1.50 processing fee)
Annual Pass: $55 (incl $5 processing fee)
Camping reservations can be made at washington.goingtocamp.com.
Camping at Washington State Parks does not require a Discover Pass, howeverif you camp at DNR or WDFW campgrounds or camp dispersed on DNR or WDFW land you are required to have the pass. “Dispersed camping is not allowed at day-use sites. Toilets, picnic tables, trash cans, drinking water, and fire pits are not available in the backcountry. Please follow Leave No Trace principles and pack out everything you pack in. Dispersed fires are prohibited. Campsite must be at least 200 ft from streams.”

Required for parking at National Forest trailheads in Washington and Oregon. The pass can be purchased online or at these locations. The Northwest Forest Pass is not necessary if you have purchased an America the Beautiful pass.
National Forest Day Pass: $5
National Forest Annual Pass: $30
Check the US Forest Services site to see if your campsite requires a National Park Pass to stay. Each campground entry on our map has a link to the specific website. The Recreation.gov app is useful for camping reservations in Olympic National Forest if reservations are accepted.
Backcountry & Wilderness permits
A Wilderness Camping Permit is required to camp in the Olympic National Park backcountry. Reservations can be made online, or you can call the Wilderness Information Center at (360) 565-3100. Permits are issued 3 days before a trip.
Adults (16+): $8/night (+$6 reservation fee)
Youths (15 and under): Free
Olympic National Park Annual Wilderness Pass: $45 (No camping fee for 12 months, however $6 reservation fee still required)
In the Olympic National Forest (outside the Olympic National Park), you may see kiosks for free wilderness permits. This means that a wilderness permit is required. Fill out the permit provided and attach it to your pack.
National Wildlife Refuge Entrance Pass
Required for visiting National Wildlife Refuges (NWR) and can be purchased at the refuge. The National Wildlife Refuge Pass is not necessary if you have purchased an America the Beautiful pass.
Day Pass: $3/family
Annual Pass: $15 /family
